Children of Members.
Children under 18 years old staying in the Union Jack Club must be accompanied throughout their stay by one of their parents.
Children over 18 years of age of a member are able to stay in the club without the member, having been paid for by a member online using guest profile at THM rates prior to arrival and subject to providing proof of the member’s membership on arrival, members are responsible for their behaviour.
Yes, a current serving enlisted rank/rating in the UK Armed Forces can book (and pays for) accommodation for his/her immediate family (spouse / partner and children) without the serving person being present. Click here for our booking pages.
A dress code exists in all public areas of the Club. Members and their guests are expected to wear at least casual apparel, with shoulders covered.

As a serving enlisted (not being of commissioned rank) Member of HM Armed Forces you are automatically a UJC Member, admission and booking is on your MOD 90. You do not need to complete an Application Form as would, say, a UK Veteran. You are allowed up to 4 Guests, your immediate family stay at Members rates, the 2019 Tariffs are UJC Members Information_2019. You may book your family in as Guests and you do not physically need to accompany them.

As a serving Member of your Armed Forces you are entitled to stay at the Club as a Temporary Honorary Member (THM). The 2019 Tariff for THM 2019 Rates can be found here.
Temporary Honorary Membership of the Union Jack Club: You do not need to apply, your Booking Reference gives you access to the Club; unlike a full Member you do not fill in an Application Form nor do you receive a Membership Card. Your access to the Club is thus linked to the booking of overnight accommodation; unlike a full Member you cannot just drop into the Club.

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to also provide THM status to retired personnel from non-UK Armed Forces; we are therefore currently unable to offer you THM status.
Unfortunately retired officers cannot become members of the Union Jack Club.
The Union Jack Club shall take all reasonable precautions to preserve the integrity and prevent any corruption or loss, damage or destruction of the data and information.
In the event of termination of membership the Union Jack Club shall when directed to do so by the Member, erase all information and data provided by the Member and all copies of any part of the information and data provided by the Member from the Union Jack Club’s systems and magnetic data.
The Union Jack Club agrees to comply and have adequate measures in place to ensure that its staff comply at all times with the provisions and obligations detailed above.
