Ex Service membership enquiries should complete the normal application form  UJC membership 2017

The membership fee covers the period for the calendar year. Whether you join in February or October.

Recent Service leavers are invited to join the Union Jack Club within 2 years of the leaving the Armed Forces for free (normal joining fee of £20). Click here start.

Enjoy all that the Union Jack Club has to offer with like minded Members and a base in London to assist in your transition.

Processing of paper application forms can take up to 4 weeks, however, apply online and processing should take no more than 2 weeks.

If you have mislaid your discharge papers MOD will provide a duplicate, at no charge under the FOI Act. Click mod_dpa_sar_form_apr_15 for details. APC currently have a backlog of requests.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS – MEMBERSHIP

I am serving in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces, how do I apply for UJC Membership: As a serving Member of HM Armed Forces you are automatically a UJC Member, admission and booking is on your Military ID.  You do not need to complete an Application Form as would, say, a UK Veteran.  You are allowed up to 4 Guests, your immediate family stay at Members rates.

I am serving in the Armed Forces of another country, can I be a Union Jack Club Member:  As a serving Member of your Armed Forces you are entitled to stay at the Club as a Temporary Honorary Member (THM).

Temporary Honorary Membership of the Union Jack Club: You do not need to apply, your Booking Reference gives you access to the Club; unlike a full Member you do not fill in an Application Form nor do you receive a Membership Card.  Your access to the Club is thus linked to the booking of overnight accommodation; unlike a full Member you cannot just drop into the Club.

I am a Retired Member of another country’s Armed Forces, can I be a Union Jack Club Member: Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to also provide THM status to retired personnel from non-UK Armed Forces; we are therefore currently unable to offer you THM status.

I am a retired Officer of HM Armed Forces, can I become a Union Jack Club Member:  As a retired Officer of HM Armed Forces you are entitled to stay at the Club as a THM, please contact our booking Office, contact details above or email abo@ujclub.co.uk
