Welcome to the Union Jack Club

The Union Jack Club has been standing at Waterloo for over 100 years and received over 20 million guests through its doors. Its founder was Ethel McCaul, a Royal Red Cross nurse, who was adamant that servicemen and women from the ranks should have a haven for themselves in the Capital. Ethel McCaul’s vision remains our primary purpose today: to provide non-commissioned serving and former members of the Armed Forces and their families a comfortable and friendly base for their visits to London.

Accommodation includes single, double, fully accessible, superior and family rooms along with apartments and a thriving Restaurant, and bars for our Members. The meeting & banqueting facilities comprise ten rooms that are open to Members and the corporate and charity world. Unique to the Union Jack Club's history is the Victoria Cross Roll of Honour on display along with personal pictures. This is the only known display and record of the brave Servicemen who have received the Victoria Cross.
