Welcome to the Union Jack Club

The Union Jack Club has been standing at Waterloo for over 100 years and received over 20 million guests through its doors. Its founder was Ethel McCaul, a Red Cross nurse, who was adamant that servicemen and women from the ranks should have a haven for themselves in the Capital. Ethel McCaul’s vision remains our primary purpose today: to provide non-commissioned services and former members of the Armed Forces and their families a comfortable and friendly base for their visits to London.

The Union Jack Club’s versatile accommodation is exclusively available to all Serving members of HM Armed Forces and Members of the Club and caters perfectly for individuals, couples, families and groups.

The 290 rooms consist of single, twin, double, family accommodation along with apartments and a suite.
